Hardwick Construction has been designing and building custom homes in Traverse City, Grand Traverse County, Leelanau County, and Antrim County since 1986.

From the beginning Terry & Diane Hardwick decided that client satisfaction would be the prime directive, and key to success. Some clients bring architectural plans of their own, others, sketches on graph paper or magazine pictures. Some say, "Start from scratch." In every case, clear, honest communication between clients and builder is vital. An easy to understand contract and specifications mean no surprise "extras" to worry about. Any changes are addressed in writing, before occurring, at an agreed upon cost. As a General Contractor and former "hands on" builder, Terry has worked with carefully selected subcontractors and suppliers for many years and is on site every day making sure that high expectations are met and that work proceeds in a timely manner. He treats workers and suppliers with dignity and respect. In return he expects only their best. There isn't a person on a job site that he wouldn't be proud to have the home owner meet.

Quality materials go into each home and all the "invisible" non glamour things are done right. Diane is your contact in the office and is there to lend a friendly ear listening to your dreams or concerns. As a returned Traverse City native, Diane is well aware of your hopes and dreams when you select the beautiful Northern Michigan region as your home.
